Tom Hix and Mike Fletcher are an integral part of the Copperopolis community and committed to environmental protection with eco-friendly development principles. With 75 years of combined experience, the partnership is poised to write a new chapter in the history of an already storied place.
Mike Fletcher
A fourth generation developer, Mike’s great grandfather was a pioneer planner credited with shaping large areas of San Diego. After graduating from the University of Arizona, Mike was already a savvy general contractor and engineer by the age of 26 with construction projects in Rancho San Diego, Temecula, Escondido, and Downtown San Diego. Recently his development helped revitalize Las Palmas Ranch in Monterrey which included completion of more than 1,000 new homes and a major saltwater reclamation project.
Tom Hix
Tom is the master behind creating of one of the most highly-rated resort communities in America, Pronghorn in Bend, Oregon. The 640-acre project features iconic Nicklaus and Fazio courses that remain on national golf magazine's 'must play' lists. A successful broker in both southern and northern California, Tom's previous projects also focused on land acquisitions and commercial ventures. Tom began visiting the Copperopolis area in the mid 1990s with his family and quickly became involved in city planning and work with the current development company at the time. His vision for the property is now becoming a reality.
